Laura Canada began the month of May by celebrating six grand reopening events for Laura and Melanie Lyne. With newly designed shops in Edmonton, Toronto, Winnipeg and Ottawa, the Canadian retailer continues to reinforce its presence across the country.
Edmonton
On May 2, West Edmonton Mall, the largest shopping centre in North America, welcomed back Laura and Melanie Lyne in high fashion. VIP guests and loyal customers alike gathered to enjoy live music, delectable treats and refreshing mocktails. With a raffle and bags filled with goodies, partygoers had the opportunity to collect a host of prizes, including gift cards and accessories from the two sister brands. Among the attendees were influencers Robin Jones (@withrobinj), Ana Pejkanovic (@marchandmayblog), Hannah Kaup (@honeyandbetts) and Ana Caballes (@bananamoda), as well as stylists Alyssa Habchi (@alyssahabchi) and Daniella Loggale (@dloggale).
Toronto
Toronto’s Square One Shopping Centre held an equally impressive opening for Laura on May 8. Anna Przezak (@working_chix) and Winnie (@winnspiration) were just two of the high-profile guests to make an appearance. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team, the event was as memorable as it was successful.
Winnipeg
On May 8, Winnipeg’s Polo Park mall got its turn to welcome back Laura to its shopping centre. With a dynamic jazz duo, cocktails, food station and raffle, guests, including blogger Natalie Bell (@pegcitylovely), had the distinct pleasure of celebrating the event in style.
Ottawa
Laura and Melanie Lyne settled back into Ottawa’s St. Laurent Shopping Centre on May 9. DJ Jovie J (@djjoviej) provided the soundtrack to the highly anticipated event at Melanie Lyne, where participants mingled and shopped as hors d’oeuvres and champagne were passed around. Guests at both openings had the chance to win gift certificates, as well as scarves and sunglasses from Laura Canada.
With over a handful of grand reopening events in just one week, there’s no telling what Laura Canada will accomplish next. The signature ribbon cutting ceremony that took place at each location not only marked the creation of a new concept store, but the continuation of a beloved Canadian retailer’s legacy.
