When it comes to Halloween, Laura Canada is known for its festive decor and elaborate costumes. This year was no different. Head office employees were invited to celebrate the annual event by dressing up in their funniest, spookiest and most original attire. They were also tasked with decorating their workstations, allowing them to express their creativity through their fun designs.
Contest Winners
Group Effort
Laura’s fit technicians, who coordinated their outfits for the day, dressed up as aerobics dancers, earning them a team dinner for their group efforts, which included an original dance choreography.
Scariest
Catherine, our receptionist, took home the title for the scariest costume for the second year in a row. Having also won a prize for the most creative guise the year prior, it’s fair to say this longtime Laura employee has a knack for dressing up and surprising her colleagues.
Most Creative
Carmela, the director of development for the Laura outlet stores, was recognized for her attire, which earned her the coveted prize for the most creative ensemble.
Most Original Decor
Two departments earned complimentary lunches for their spectacular decorations within the office. While the Melanie Lyne design team draped their desks and filing cabinets with beautiful autumnal trimmings, payroll members chose a grimmer theme by recreating a fictional morgue.
Yet again, head office employees successfully embodied the spirit of the season, as they revealed their impressive creations. We look forward to seeing what they have in store next year.
