Spreading Joy to Brighten the Lives of Others
Laura Canada employees will be donating their time on November 23 and 24 for two days of volunteering at Mission Bon Accueil and Moisson Laval. During this company-wide volunteering initiative, they will have the opportunity to help sort and prepare various food and non-food items for less well-off families in the Greater Metropolitan Area. By participating in this community activity, Laura Canada hopes to spread joy just in time for the holidays.
Mutual Aid, at the Heart of Laura Canada’s Values
In the interest of mutual aid and solidarity, Laura Canada wishes to support families as they navigate uncertain times and to add warmth to their holiday season. In the words of Josh Fisher, Senior Vice President, “Particularly at this time of year, those of us fortunate enough to indulge in gifts for ourselves and our loved ones are compelled to assist those struggling to make ends meet. We are proud to be supporting our local Food Banks this holiday season.”

It was during the COVID-19 pandemic that Laura Canada implemented the Laura Cares initiative. Although Laura employees have always been involved in their community, this project aims to recognize their generosity in a concrete way. Through this initiative, Laura Canada brings the company values to life: giving back to the community while creating positive impact. Whether it’s offering a listening ear to a client or donating clothes to someone who lost everything in a fire, every gesture, big or small, is worth its weight in gold.
