As the sun shone on one of the first beautiful days of summer, Laura Canada head office employees enjoyed a refreshing bite from Le Casse-Glace – a food truck offering homemade ice cream and other delectable desserts.
The ice cream, a special treat for Employee Appreciation Day, provided a welcome reprieve from the heat and gave staff members a chance to relax in the sun and let loose in the company of their colleagues.
The human resources department even arranged a hula hoop contest, so employees could enjoy some extra laughs as they waited in line. The friendly competition was a success, as four skilled participants were rewarded with gift cards for their unsuspected talent.
Not only was this sweet break a wonderful way to kick off the summer season, it was the perfect opportunity to thank Laura employees for their hard work and dedication to the company.
