From print magazines and online publications to charitable concerts and internationally known events, Laura Canada received substantial media attention during the months of May and June.
7 Jours
In a May edition of 7 Jours, Marie-France Pellerin featured Laura Canada in a piece on how to liven up your office wardrobe with coloured suiting options. She provided fashion inspiration from Hollywood celebrities, such as Anne Hathaway and Maggie Gyllenhaal, while presenting a peach pink monochromatic suit from Melanie Lyne and a belted blazer and floral pant ensemble from Laura.
In June, the Quebec magazine focused twice more on our brands. Jean Airoldi included a floral print skirt from Melanie Lyne in a spread on how to wear midi-length silhouettes, while Marie-France Pellerin showcased stunning one-piece designs from Laura and Melanie Lyne in an editorial on jumpsuits.
Salut Bonjour
Myreille Simard recently wrote an article for Salut Bonjour on the 10 best fashion pieces to wear this season. Not only did a palm leaf blouse from Laura make the top five, the Quebec journalist emphasized how fashionable tropical prints are for the summer.
Cabaret MT-Royal
In mid-May, Marie-Claude Barrette stunned in a black cocktail dress from Laura when she co-hosted the Cabaret MT-Royal à la Place des Arts – a spectacular evening of music and dancing benefiting the Fondation Papillon, a non-profit organization for disabled children.
Grand Prix
Laura had the distinct pleasure of outfitting Marie-Claude Di Lillo for the Montreal Grand Prix. The journalist and blogger showcased her impeccable style in three different outfits from the collection. She kicked off the festivities in a wide leg jumpsuit. She then opted for an emerald green ball gown for a glamorous party at the Ritz-Carlton. Finally, she chose an off-the-shoulder satin dress for a red carpet event at Le Richmond Griffintown, a well-known restaurant offering Northern Italian cuisine.
Di Lillo wasn’t the only one wearing Laura Canada designs at the Grand Prix. Journalist Anne-Lovely Etienne was spotted at Ritz-Carlton restaurant Maison Boulud wearing a polka dot print jumpsuit from Melanie Lyne. She expertly paired the piece with a mid-length redingote from the same label, as well as a fringed belt bag by Vince Camuto.
Social Media
Fashion blogger Ana Pejkanovic looked radiant on Instagram in a mixed print design from Melanie Lyne – a piece she referred to as the perfect summer dress.
With appearances across print, digital and social media, there’s no denying that Laura Canada is continuing to make its mark in the fashion industry. Stay tuned for what lies ahead for this iconic Canadian brand.
