On April 28, 2019, several employees from the Laura & Melanie Lyne Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre locations participated in the Vaughan in Motion Walk for Cancer Care fundraiser. The event took place in the mall itself.
Employees from both brands wore t-shirts designed and donated by Laura Canada for the occasion. They walked 5 km around Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre to raise money for the charity.
And, they weren’t alone; kids, parents, and families from the area joined in on the fun.
The non-profit organization responsible for the fundraiser has been located in the mall for nine years. Since the event’s creation, they have raised roughly $900,000 for the fight against cancer.
The day was a huge success and was largely covered by local press. By supporting this event and its employees, Laura Canada demonstrated their commitment to a cause they hold dear.
